She has posted a help request on her page... this is how it starts:

"The CFCA, one of the charities I contribute to, is organizing a mission trip to India, so that we sponsors can go and meet the children we've been writing letters to for the past year or two or ten (I believe I have been corresponding with Alamelu, and donating money for her health and education, for three or four years) face-to-face."
